The Foundation

Founded around the XVIIIth to the XIXth century, the medina of Rabat, of which the Riad Zyo is part, is the work of Andalusian refugees expelled from Spain by King Philip III. It was built south of the Bouregreg River and is protected by multiple enclosures making it one of the best protected medinas in Morocco

Since 2009, the relay has been taken over by M. CHRAIBI, to make it a modern riad but that exudes its authenticity. The Riad ZYO offers a decoration combining traditional crafts, harmonious, vintage & modern furniture. An architectural splendour to share up to 30 people for a colorful and flavorful Moroccan stay.
